So, most of the images here where photographed with a polarizing filter attached to the front of my lens – hence saturated blue skies and a reduction in reflections to reveal much more detail in the images.

Always a tough choice deciding what gear to take and remember how much those Canon L series lenses weigh! – then a monopod or tripod, then extra batteries.

All images with the exception of The Queen Mary and San Francisco street (which were photographed on colour negative film) captured in RAW and then processed using Capture One software.

No examples here but I often will use my wife’s canon powershot G5, a great compact.
